Blending refined European design with glittery diamond-accented style, this Omega Constellation women's watch offers graceful lines and a slender width for even the more delicate of wrists. Offering an appealing balance of luxury, durability, and precision (with its Swiss quartz watch movement), this Constellation will capture attention immediately as you walk into the ballroom (or boardroom) with its shiny, fully diamond encrusted silver stainless steel bezel. The silky smooth silver stainless steel bracelet band flows seamlessly from the case and is slightly tapered. Omega Unveils 2009 Constellation Collection

Zhang Ziyi is a Chinese singer and actress. You’ve seen her in movies like “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” and “Rush Hour 2”. She is beautiful, talented and is one the famed brand Ambassadors for Omega Watches .

On August 27, 2009, Zhang Ziyi and Omega , launched the new Omega Constellation Collection for 2009 in Shanghai, China.

Zhang Ziyi has been a fan of Omega women’s watches for the past decade. Upon becoming the brand’s newest Ambassador she said:  “The values of OMEGA – credibility, achievement and pioneering spirit – are what I have devoted myself to for the past ten years. When I was first approached by OMEGA I was very happy because the company is extremely well known and respected in China, where they have been since 1895.”

This event was significant for two reasons: it represented the global launch of this new Constellation collection as well as served as the first official appearance Ziyi was making as an Omega brand Ambassador.

The setting for the launch featured a large screen where depicting space, stars and sky; a perfect and natural setting for a constellation to take shape. Set against this backdrop, each new luxury watch from the Constellation Collection began to form. Zhang Ziyi was handed one of these beauties by Stephen Urquhart, the president of Omega . She autographed the watch box before placing it inside a transparent safe. This watch will be given to one lucky winner, who draws the key to the safe, from the thousands that are invited to the Omega Corporate Flagship store opening.
