Some short time ago everything was clear about Ferrari watches – Girard-Perragaux had a collection of Girard-Perregaux Ferrari chronographs. The tandem existed and prospered due to the fact that Luigi Macaluso used to be an auto racer for Scuderia Ferrari. Watches from Girard-Perregaux for Ferrari collection enjoyed fantastic popularity with both sportsmen and ordinary customers. However, the year 2005 brought quite an unpleasant surprise – the new Girard-Perregaux for Ferrari collection was not presented. For an year public was in official dark about this matter, though everyone knew that the watches of Italian car legend Ferrari will be issued by guys from Italian watch legend Panerai. Panerai emphasizes the fact that Ferrari are separate, independent watches, rather than just Panerai watches with Prancing horse on the dial.  Today there are 4 most popular Panerai Ferrari models – Ferrari 8 days Chrono Monopulsate, Ferrari Scuderia 10 GMT, Ferrari 1/8 Second and Ferrari Chronograph Pink Gold 45 mm that became a true sensation in the world of watch making. This fantastic watch was released in limited edition of 50 pieces only. The model features square case with rounded corners. The case is made out of pink gold and it has aerodynamic lines that recall the sinuous curves of many Ferrari cars. The timepiece is partly brushed and partly polished. Its crown is closed with a bayonet lock, so the famous Prancing Horse always remains in vertical position.
Tag Heuer also has something to be proud of. Monaco watches that were for the first time released in 1969 and that got fantastic popularity after the famous Le Man film in which Steve McQueen) wore this model.
